Stadium 21-Miami Dolphins

Game number 21, the long awaited return of Tony Romo for my beloved Dallas Cowboys against the Miami Dolphins here at the SunLife Stadium in Miami. The game started under a torrential downpour, but the sun eventually came out in the second half, which was very well received! It was a fairly even first half with Dallas scoring a pick 6, before the Dolphins scored a touchdown right on the stroke of half time. In the 3rd quarter Dallas made two quick scores, and comfortably ran down the clock, and the game was won. Not one of the best games that I have seen, but tense, as my Cowboys had lost their last 7 games, so a win and which way was so very much needed and welcome. Lets hope this is the start of a comeback!!

Stadium 20-Jacksonville Jaguars

Game number 20 in Jacksonville was a game I had been looking forward to for a very long time, especially after an invite from the owner of the club Mr Shad Khan. So I took my place in his private suite with great excitement and a very empty stomach, as this was the first game in a long time that I did not not attend a tailgate. With a fantastic view on the 50 yard line from Mr Khan’s suite, the game was a pretty tense affair in the first half, with both teams kicking field goals. The game opened up a little more in the second half, but was still a very close thing. The Jaguars finally got the touchdown all of us in the private area were praying for, and watching Mr Khan catching and running every play was a thrill to be a part of. I was so happy for Mr Khan and his staff  that the Jags won this very important game, as they really took great care of me. A real highlight on my tour so far. Thank you to everyone I met last night who made this experience so very special. Go Jags!

Stadium 19-Tampa Bay Bucanneers

I arrived in great anticipation that i would see my Cowboys put on good show and stop their unbeaten run of 6 games on the bounce. Tailgated with the “What the Bucs” boys before the game and we all had a great time. The sun was shining and I had a great seat in the stadium to watch the game. Well what a game! Without question the worse game i have seen so far on my tour. This looked like a game of two very poor teams, with Tampa being the more positive of the two. 3 fields goals split the teams 6- 3 to Dallas until a minute from the end when Winston, the Bucs quarterback ran in the winning score of 10-6. As a Cowboys fan it was yet another very disappointing performance and  my 2nd Cowboys game in a row, I never saw a touchdown from my team.  Romo cannot come back quick enough for the Cowboys as this ids a very poor team indeed. I was expecting so much more from my Boys, as we never got near the endzone in the entire game. And this was against Tampa Bay, with respect, not one of the better teams in the NFL, so this was an incredibly poor performance indeed.

Stadium 18-New York Jets

A chilly evening in New Jersey for the game between division rivals the New York Jets and the Buffalo Bills. Met with Joe and the guys at the L7 tailgate outside the Metlife Stadium. A great bunch of passionate fans to be around, very nice people. It was always going to be a tight game between these two teams, but the Bills raced into a commanding lead by half time. The Bills continued into the second half with more conviction, until the Jets revival came. It was looking like the Jets would steal the win with their final drive, but sadly for them (and my friends from L7) they failed on a 4th down inside the redzone with little time left on the clock. A very enjoyable game and i thoroughly enjoyed my time with Joe and his Jets friends.

Stadium 17-Buffalo Bills

A beautiful sunny day greeted me at the Ralph Wilson stadium in Buffalo. It was a little chilly from what ive been used to, but it could have been a whole lot worse as i hear its normally covered in snow around this time of the year here in up state New York. I sat in a great seat on the half way line before being invited into a private box by my friend Lou, and had a brilliant day watching the Bills easily beat a poor Dolphins team with a great bunch of passionate Bills fans. Buffalo took control early on, only for the Dolphins to rally slightly before half time. It was one way traffic in the second half as the Bills stepped up a gear and basically won at a canter. Another nice experience, next stop New York to watch the Bills play for the second time in a week.

Stadium 15-Carolina Panthers

Arrived at the Bank of America stadium in Charlotte in pouring rain, and it did not stop for the entire game in my first game at a stadium without a roof!!. So like a drowned rat, i watched most of the game soggy but still had another enjoyable experience. Carolina were going into this game unbeaten at 6-0, and I anticipated a difficult evening for them if Andrew Luck was on his game. Sadly for the Colts fans, they were out of Luck!! as Mr Luck was very up and down again. I enjoyed seeing Cam Newton and his great running game as a quarterback. The game went into overtime for my second game in consecutive days, and the unbeaten run of the Panthers continued with a field goal. Well please to see the Panthers unbeaten run continue.

Stadium 14-Atlanta Falcons

The Georgia Dome, the home of the Atlanta Falcons. Yet another beautiful stadium, sadly to be knocked down after this NFL season, only for a new one to be build right next door.

I predicted an easy win for the Falcons, but to my pleasant surprise, it was a very different game to what I expected. I sat with a great bunch of Tampa Bay Buccaneers fans, whom I met before the game at their tailgate. What an incredible group of passionate fans as we all cheered the Bucs into a big first half lead. As expected the Falcons comeback came, and the game went into overtime. The Bucs eventually won and what a way to do it! I was so pleased for the Bucs fans. Another great day in paradise.
